It's funny, but I can't watch the show...

It's just soooo depressing to me for some reason. The thought of people actually living like this and in these conditions and acting like this just depresses the **** out of me.

I will admit the show is very funny, but this is just TOO dark for me....

Anyone else just get uber depressed when watching for an extended period of time?

reply

No, this show actually makes me happy, when real life is what depresses the *beep* out of me.

That's exactly how it is for me. I'll go through periods of depression and IASIP always cheers me up. How can someone not laugh at novelties like rum ham or fight milk?

This is an environment of welcoming, and you should just get the hell out of here-Michael Scott

How is it depressing? To be able to drink on the job. All you do is serve drinks all day. The most stress free environment. They use to work their asses off but now that frank is paying for everything they just don't have to do anything. You don't have to be stucked in a cubicle somewhere while your boss is pushing you around. Beats working as an office drone.

The Gang (aside from Charlie) pretty much never do any work, yet they never have to worry about finances because of Frank. They do whatever they want whenever they want and for some reason never have to face any consequences for any of the shenanigans they pull. They're pathetic people but they live like kings tbh

This show is definitely a picker upper for me. Now Louie, that's a show that depresses the hell out of me despite how good it is. I couldn't keep watching it.
