no, not in the beginning. and she didn't. she only wanted to be friends. it was only after EVERYTHING that happened to the poor girl and he was there through all of it that she started to see him in a different light.
i think partly why this movie creeped me out as much as it did was because i thought that could be me. not that anyone would want to stalk little ol' me but i would totally fall for the nice guy that stayed with me through all of that. c'mon, the "cute" guy wouldn't even come over to watch a movie with her.

Not on his own. But if you were able to gather information on a girl before you actually met her making it seem like you had similar interests or some connection, you could get her to give you a second look.
