Best scene?

Each time I watch Jaguar paw shout out and challenge them to come over, I get goosebumps. What an inspiring figure he is.

that is not the best scene man, what are you talking about?
best scene is when jaguar is chasing him and pounces on one of the chasers while he runs back!

The ships at the end, i.e. civilization coming to the New World.. What a contrast between the wild, barbaric Indians and the civilized (even though cruel, too) Europeans.. The moment I saw it I felt really proud of being a European.

Actually, the Mayans were a very civilized ppl and astute in science and mathematics. Not sure where you are getting your ideas from. The only thing the colonizers brought were diseases. Mayans were ALREADY civilized. If anything, it was the Natives who taught newly arrived Europeans about proper hygiene and how to feed themselves in the Americas in several instances. You call the Mayans "barbaric" for their rituals, if that's the case what do you consider events such as the witch-hunts in Europe and the Spanish inquisition etc ? They were going around burning innocent women at the stake and accusing them of being "witches"....have you actually seen some of the torture devices of medieval Europe ? If you have, you should know barbaric would be an understatement to describe those methods.

I like the blue-painted captives being led past murals of blue-painted captives being sacrificed.

Cold.

Though the movie had a lot of good parts, a few of my were; when Jaquar Law jumps over the waterfall & then beckons his captors to come after him, but not actually thinking they would really jump too! Also, when Jaquar Paw is leaning up against the tree trying to take a breather & turns to see the flames from the sticks held by his captors coming towards & he has to take off running again...poor things...I was exhausted by the end of the movie like I did all that running! Made me realize just how in shape I'm not! Lol

I forgot but I also like the part when the mother uses an ant to stitch up her little son's leg, & he lays there & takes it like a man. I thought that scene was priceless. It showed her strength & their resourcefulness as a ppl without modern day stuff.

after the waterfall definitely was sick with him taunting them to come over

but i always prefered the much awaited "showdown" with middle eye

runs, slides, gets clipped on the side of the head , picks up the weapon and SMASHES middle eye's head

the way mel films the whole thing is just so satisfying, i always feel like im swinging the stick with jaguar, POW

always thought that scene was pretty cool

My favourite is the "top of the pyramid" scene. The priest exploiting the solar eclipse to manipulate the masses. At the same time he holds the king in check too. The facial conversation between the priest and the king is brilliantly done.

SW Prequels - the story about how Anakin was a short-tempered, annoying, repulsive prick

Aah, I might need to recheck that. :)
