Ok you're telling me an entire trible lives in the Jungle, and they don't have a single watchman securing over the tribe overnight! Ancient tribes all over the world have always had a tradition of keeping a watchman awake overnight that would alert the rest of the tribe should they be under attack. Especially needed in the jungle for christ sake! There should be someone with a horn or soemthing so if a molevolent tribe attacks, he blows his ass off!
shareYes and No ... the way I see it, they usually did have night watches, but on this evening the village had a Tribal Fest going on with a Party, Trance and Dance into dawn of the early morning ... and so they relied solely on their trusty dogs for early warning, a smart decision because the dogs really did their job well and barked on and on, in vane. The folks in the village were all just too beat out and hung over, just got to bed and didn´t want to be bothered with the barking. I also believe that if hey did have night watchmen patrolling, these would have been silently hunted down or liquidated by the Hulcanes before they even had a chance to blow any horn, at worst their fate would not have been much different than that of the dogs ... the death yelp of a barker started everything off.
they were trying to show us, that they lived in such peacfuly enviroment, that they didnt night watch...
