Was the last episode 7 necessary ?
Do anyone feel it was too heavy or even necessary? it was pretty much only about loss/death/sickness. I have a hard time getting through episodes/tv like that and im not sure what its supposed to trigger in us but im presuming a episode like that must be what outliving your child must be like. Ive seen movies like that before especially asian war movies seem to have often the same amount of approach.
I was bit gutted with that episode in a way, even though i kind of expected it would have a episode like that after seeing the approach they did with Abigails character early on in the show, and the general feel/demographic/age group it had to appeal to or was made in consideration for.
I think it was great series overall i would probably personally think episode 5 and 6 were my favourites followed by 4 and 2. First episode like most series are a bit hard to get into or appreaciate, the court scenes were all great but also on the heavy side in the episode apart from that. Id say episode 7 and 1 was probably the hardest to get into due to their theme.
Giamatti did a great job along with Dillane especially but i do feel like Giamatti wasnt on his absolute top in the first 2 episodes, he felt kind of distant in those episodes in getting into the feel of the series.
