Unprofessional Writing...

Seriously, I hate to come down hard like this, but I can't understand how anybody would greenlight this movie after reading the script and I really can't believe Will Patton would be in it.

Everything in the plot is totally unprofessional. It's literally on the level of an 8th grade writing class. Every single plot element defies logic and I don't see how these guys could get any better. They just don't know how to write, yet that hasn't stopped them.

They basically aped the entire plot of the first movie, yet make ridiculous changes that make the first one look like Academy Award stuff.

The drug dealers own the entire town including the cops, but they need this one night club because apparently it's got a really nice kitchen to do drug deals. The *beep* is absolutely laughable! Even more laughable when they offer $400,000 for the place (more than half what it's worth) and they turn it down. Then the lead character (DEA AGENT MIND YOU) has the nerve to look surprised after they bust in the place and kill one of the bouncers while he was having sex. Oh wait, the other guy let them in. He had a key, otherwise, that door would have kept the bad guys out...

Apparently there are only 3 cops in the entire town and the hotshot DEA Agent never suspects the bad guys would come to an unguarded hospital room to finish the job. Of course, if the hero had been that smart, the writers wouldn't have been able to have that cool scene where Will Patton beats up random thugs with a mop. I bet they were really proud of that scene.
