What non-DC characters would think of The Joker.

Not just this version, but to the character in general as a person, and to his actions. For instance:

John McLane

Buffy Summers

Jason Bourne

Bryan Mills

Dr. Loomis

reply

They'd kill him immediately, which would make for a boring story.

The future is in the hands of a man who has none.(As in no future, as opposed to no hands.)

reply

Probably. But what if The Joker had a plan ahead of time for each of them?

reply

I'm not that familiar with Buffy and Dr. Loomis would probably end up as a transgendered Harley Quinn. But the other guys are nigh indestructible so I don't think it matters what kind of plan Joker had.

Bourne might be the only one to even try to reason with him before smoking his ass. McClane would laugh with Joker as he emptied his clip into him, then hit him with a one-liner afterwards. Mills wouldn't even say anything, he'd just rip Joker in half and kill anyone in a ten mile radius who may or may not have been generally aware that Joker was up to something.

reply

Heh, yeah. Thanks! But why would Bourne want to reason with someone like The Joker?

reply

Bourne is generally a good guy with a history of mental trauma and manipulation by his government. I could see him questioning Joker's motives or at least having empathy for his situation (Joker is likely former military, Batman concludes this himself in a companion book for TDK) before ultimately deciding he's too far gone and taking him out.

reply

Makes sense. How about Clarke Griffin and Daisy Johnson?

reply

Not familiar with Griffin. It depends on which version of Daisy we're talking about. Comic Daisy obliterates him on sight while tv Daisy has her fifth existential crisis of the day and runs off to pout.

That gets ne thinking...Ghost Rider. I'm trying to imagine what would happen if Joker got hit with the penance stare. If anything, Joker gets off on the pain he causes others; it would probably be the equivalent of a drug overdose for him. And then GR would put his fist straight through Joker's chest.

reply

Okay. Thanks!

reply

Fat Albert would think Joker's messed up.

Mr. Spock would find him fascinating but ultimately illogical.

Glenda the Good Witch and the Wizard of Oz would both try to take him out, but through a naive third party that they could manipulate into confronting him head-on.

The Cat in the Hat would try to engage him in some break-the-rules playtime to liven up a boring day, then realize too late that the guy already believes in living without rules and is going to give him a Colombian Necktie, then make Thing One and Thing Two fight to the death in a cage match with a broken beer bottle as a "tryout" for joining his organization.

reply

Heh Thanks!

reply

I'd pay real currency to see Joker get his hands on the Mike Myers version of the character. More than one way to skin a cat indeed.

To the goldfish he would say "You remind me of my father."
