I haven't been into Kaiju since I was a child but have found a renewed interest. I am wondering where I could find news about potentially a new Gamera project? It seems odd that the 90s trilogy was so well received and since then all they have done is this title, which is now almost 8 years old. It didn't bomb or anything, so why hasn't there been a new film?

I'd love to see them do a reboot with the budget that Godzilla 2014 had.
shareNo need for a third reboot. Remember, Godzilla fans grew tired and critical of the constant reboots of Godzilla, so I hope the studio who has control of future Gamera projects do not make the same mistake. I can understand their having a second reboot, but they should have made this movie as a sequel to Gamera Super Monster since Gamera did sacrifice his life to save humans in that movie, too.
Rather than doing another reboot, the future movies could either put together both the movies from the first Gamera set of films and the next three that was a part of the reboot or some of the new movies could have connections to the first series of movies and some would be connected to the second series of movies.
