This is a really great film.

I bought this after I saw it on sale and read the DVD jacket and took a chance on it. And I ended up being very happy that I did. The first half or so is a botched kidnapping which is hilarious. Then, all of a sudden things get even worse when the horror kicks in. I think the cross between funny crime caper to still darkly funny horror film works very well.

I highly recommend this film.

If you haven't already you must check out Severence. It's also a British dark comedy. I actually prefer it to The Cottage but both were hilarious.

I love this movie. It's a total classic.
