Imagine this: The President has a small part in the film, why couldn't they have done some stunt casting?
Kevin Kline and Harrison Ford have played the president in a film before. They should have cast one of them in the part. (Since its a small part, their huge salaries wouldn't have come up)

Bruce Greenwood - the President in National Treasure 2- has also played the President. He played JFK in 13 Days and did a damn fine job with that role. 13 Days is one of my favorite movies and I was ecstatic when I saw he would be the President in NT2. I thought he did a great job in this movie too.
