Why did President Coolidge order Borglum to destroy landmarks but...
didn't do anything with the city of gold? How unusual it is, isn't it? Didn't the American need some gold around the time?
shareI think President Coolidge did try to locate the city of gold, but give up cause by those dead trap in the cave. As what i remembered , there are many skeleton in the cave. So after he gave up, he gave order Borglum to destroy landmarks to prevent other treasure hunter to locate city of gold.
