He didn't say he bought it specifically, he just said he chose it. But considering he found the treasure, and he split it 50:50 with Reily, then yeah, I'd say he owns it... which makes Abigale a bitch for kicking Ben out of a house he owns, and then changes the code? Amazing though she still stays hot while doing this unlike some actresses who didn't age so well with a sequel. Look at Kristi Ducati from the Bikini Car Wash Company I and II, bad aging. And that's one movie.
