After the terrible original I thought they couldn't trump in the raspberry stakes, but they managed it by a long, long way. This is on great big patronising and dumb faux mess of a Indiana Jones, Da Vinci Code meets Mission Impossible, pastiche but without any of the class (and I use that word advisably especially with respect to the awful Da Vinci Code). And look at the cast? What are they doing in this turkey? Talk about having bills to pay lol. And was there one nation that wasn't insulted by this tripe? The USA used to make intelligent films, but then again the Republicans didn't used to worship stupidity so it looks to me like Hollywood is starting to reflect the anti-intellectual nature of the much of the electorate.

Some of the worst acting I've ever seen. Why was Kruger shaking her head all the time......like a teenager trying to show off her pony tail? She shouldn't do that especially given that her hair is so thin and dirty.

Man, I wonder what kind of mind set you people have when going into a movie like this in the first place. ITS A MOVIE FOR KIDS! What the bloody hell do you people expect from these kinds of movies in the first place? If you don't like a simple family adventure flick then see something else, jeez.

My ignore list is infinite...

Oh, I don't think so. They were fun, well-made examples of adventure films the whole family could see -- they don't come along all that often.

I love American History, especially American Civil War History, so I thought this film was awesome. I've also always dreamed of going to England, so I enjoyed the scenes in England as well.

One of the worst films of all time

Not Even Close.... When people are overly harsh toward a movie and/or actors, I tend to believe they have an agenda other than just the critiquing of a particular film.... I don't claim to be a movie critic, I seldom even agree with or understand movie critics... However, I like the "National Treasure" movies and have seen them both more than once... I probably should also admit that I like most of the movies Nicolas Cage is in... I thought Justin Bartha was very funny in these movies and I think Diane Kruger is a very good actress... None of the actors nor this movie deserve the harsh criticism that they've received here, by some...
