A small plot hole...

This is just a dumb observation, but how is it that Abigail has the ability to kick Ben out of a house that he owns. They're not married, and since the credit for the first films find went to Ben then its fair to say that the money did as well. So, it is very likely that the house would be under his name.

Obviously there are many possibilities for this, but the lack of explanation in the film was humorous to me.

I thought the same thing, but I think ben was a chiversouse(?) kind of man. He was being a gentle man by letting her have the house.

*chivalrous, maybe the word you're looking for?

In most breakups where people live together, the woman gets the house, unless the man owned it prior to them getting together. It's just the honorable thing to do. And I suspect that they got the house together, with the reward from the treasure in the first movie...

Gimme a break. Chivalry and business don't mesh in today's feminist world. She can go find her own *beep* house. That's equality.

Better than that Abigail is the one kicked out of the house. Disney didn't want to piss off young mothers who brought their children to the theater.
