And instead liked Riley, what with Ben's flappy face, horseshoe hair, dark slanting eyes, puffy lips, she just didn't find him attractive anymore. But that would have made her shallow. The tallest male has to have his sights set on the smartest female in the room.

One of tue many things I found difficult to digest in this movie was the ZERO chemistry BWN ben n abegail
He almost behaved as if he were her resentful brother !!
N the only role abe had inthis movie was --
1) to give a jumping start to wilkinson in th treasure hunt by being so dumb n telling him what ben was up to ....
2) to be the pretty face by the side of the hero while he saves his country n family ( n she was not a pretty face )
3) to act like a typical American botch wife -- stay in her husbands home while he stays at his dads -- n this is not enough for them,,, date someone else too ... Behind his back... N probably have him home after the date to have sex with him .... YUCK!!
This sort of character kinda puts the viewer off !!
N while ben was selflessly trying to save his parents n ungrateful wife's life in the end ,,, she not only didn't offer to stay with him.... But also bring herself to kiss him for one last time !! I mean ...
It's the guys who need to be saved from such mean mean wives these days n not the other way around anode !!! :-D
