Everything she had was from Ben, so why did she treat him so poorly in the beginning?

I am so smart, the only thing I can't comprehend is how stupid everyone else is

Umm no he didn't. Ben literally says "Well, my girlfriend kicked me out, I'm living with my dad..."

No she's a 5 letter B word like the other poster said. Not only that, she lives in a movie world where girlfriends can kick you out of your own house and then later threaten to call the police on you for entering your own house. They can also take more stuff from you when you want to get something of your own out of your house and offer it up as a trade. This movie must have been written by a 5 letter B word too.
