Score! Casper Van Dien and Russell Mulcahy!

I have always loved Mulcahy's visual style since "Highlander" came out. He just seems to get better as he does more films "The Shadow" was slick, and he even managed to make low budget films like "Tale of the Mummy" and "Silent Trigger" look really polished. That bodes very well for this flick.

Casper Van Dien I've always thought was cool. He had a strong debut in "Starship Troopers" and he was awesome in "The Omega Code", "Shark Attack", and "Tarzan and the Lost City etc." Not to mention his hilarious turn in "Modern Vampires." All in all this should be a pretty cool little low budget film. I love low budget films, but I guess that stems from me trying to get my film projects off the ground. One of these days...

Whoa, cool. Can I have some? :p That's great it should look really slick then. Mulcahy's "Tale of the Mummy" only cost 8 million, so that's almost double. Come to think of it that's about what "The Omega Code" cost. I still remember the theater attendants looking at us funny, because it was just my two friends and I in the theater to see "The Omega Code" on the big screen. It was worth every penny though! To bad Casper wasn't in the sequel. The rest of the cast sounds good on this one too. Is Steven Waddington's prescence a nod to "Tarzan and the Lost City"? Oh, well I digress. I'm really looking forward to this one.

McDowell's one of my favorite villains. Well, he can do anything, but it seems to be his villainous turns that stick in my mind.

Yeah I thought he was great in Star Trek Generations.

Tale of the Mummy is the WORST of ANY Egyptian films. It needs to be trashed.
