Is this movie THAT bad?

I'll watch anything with Casper Van Dien in it. Bad me! Somebody was crabbing about the Indiana Jones rip-off angle, but y'know, Casper didn't write the script or decide how the character was going to dress. Somebody else has to take the credit/lumps for that stuff. He just does what he can with the character they give him. It's his job to make the character as believable and likable as possible, and if you're more amused than horrified at the thought of him having his brains pulled out through his nostrils, well, that isn't Casper's fault either. He projects this square-jawed handsome hero thing, so he gets cast that way a lot. There were some derivative parts and some innovative parts. Personally I like the way Casper looks in an Indiana Jones hat and I loved the little twist involving Howard Carter at the end. And I liked how they got rid of the inconvenient boyfriend without killing him. Don't want to spoil too much here.
I could be wrong but I don't think so--it's a jungle out there!
