In memory of ... (spoilers)

In memory of Laura and Simon. Errr, huh ? I think it's obvious that she stays to watch over Simon and the children forever, hence the massive gravestone with their names on it.

But I still wish there would have been more substance to the finale. I found myself confused momentarily when he suddenly transformed back to his normal state. Then ... When he brought back up the fact that they will fulfill one wish once the game is over and the valuable is found, I'd assumed that her saying she wanted him back was that 'one' wish granted to her. Does anyone have any theories as to 'how' she met her demise ? Other than that I thought this movie was beautifully done. It doesn't hold a candle to Pans but I'm definitely glad I viewed. :)

I thought she killed herself by taking a bunch of pills at the end. Seeing Simon wake up and all the other children in their beds was the afterlife. Her wish to have him back was fulfilled. She had him back after she had died.
