were the ghost of the children & the deformed child accomplices?why did they do that to Laura?
Laura killed herself. She realized that she had inadvertently caused the death of her son in a couple of ways: for one, if she had just gone with him when he wanted to show her the "house," they would have gone, Simon would have been happy, and he never would have got trapped down there; two, she moved the poles that caused him to get trapped. She blamed herself. All she wanted was to be with her son and the only way for her to do that was to die so she killed herself. The ghosts didn't kill her if that's what you're asking. I don't think they meant to hurt Simon either (if you do, in fact, believe that the ghosts were contacting Simon).
