The Secret Of Crickley Hall
Recently produced by BBC America and based on the James Herbert book there are some very stark similarities.
The James Herbert book came out in 2006 and The Orphanage came out in 2007. I should imagine The Orphanage had been in production for quite a while before but the similarities are very noticeable.
The Orphanage is better in my opinion.
