Laura getting locked in mirrored Simon getting locked in

Did anyone notice this? It just occurred to me that the scene in the bathroom of Laura getting the door slammed on her, falling in the bathtub, and then getting locked in was the same thing that happened to Simon when he was down in Tomas's basement room.

That must have meant something...Some kind of foreshadowing. Also remember that night that the bathroom door slammed shut by itself. Indicating that Thomas was trying to tell Laura that Simon was locked in the room downstairs (although he was already dead). The film allows us to see that, but apparently Laura is asleep and doesn't see this happen. I do believe that it was Simon and not Tomas's ghost that locked Laura in the bathroom earlier that day.

Synopsis from my thoughts and another poster....

**When Laura went looking for Simon and she opened the first door to the basement, a pile of iron bars fell down blocking the door. She picked them up and inadvertantly leaned them back up against the second door and left to go back outside. Simon at the time was in the basement, he walked up the stairs and tried to open the door but couldn't because the bars were leaning against it. He then must have lost his balance and fallen back down the stairs and ended up dying.**
THIS almost mirrors what had happened to Laura in the bathroom. Except of course she didn't die and she fell in the bathtub, not down the stairs.

Laura first started seeing ghosts when she saw that little boy in the cave at the beach when she ran off searching for Simon...Although Simon was already dead at this point so it was to no avail. He had fallen down the stairs in the little room. It was Simon's ghost that she saw at the front of the cave..We can discern this because the little boy was dressed up with a black vest and pants and white shirt that Simon had on when he and Laura had the argument when she slapped him.
