From a racers perspective..
.. This movie has horrible car chases, just downright dreadful.
Drifting is far from the fastest way of taking a turn. Going as fast as possible through the apex without losing traction is the best way.
I get that the movie is called Tokyo Drift, that their competitions are about respect as well and that a few of the U-turns warrant a slide, but chases in life or death situations should be done with the fastest way of racing possible.
EDIT: Of course very few racing movies and I really mean VERY few, maybe less than 5, stick to how you actually race in real life. This is the worst though.
