Ok I was watching all of Fast & Furious movies from 1 to 5. In Fast Five in the end they all get their share of 11 million I believe, so in Tokyo Drift Han should have had enough money where he didn't need to steal from DK. I remember the line where Han was telling Lucas that he has money. 11 mill is alot of money unless he blew it all on cars.
Even though I like Tokyo Drift, this part of the movie really bothered me. We as the audience never knew Han and DK business dealings. Were they smuggling car parts? Drugs? Human Trafficking? Dk says to Han, "You shipments late." Shipment of what? As rich as Han is suppose to be, why is he mixed up with low level gangsters. DK wasn't even YAKUZA!!
Exactly. I think TD should just be a forgotten movie there are too many questions concerning this movie and there might be a Fast & Furious 12 before they get to the final story of TD.
I think it's relevant that Han says "This is what we do", which is the same thing Gisele says in FF6. The implication is that Han does what he likes in this case wheeling and dealing and staying ahead of his enemies.
I believe Han was involved in stealing cars and exporting them for sale overseas. Which would fit in with the shipment being late.
Since those expensive cars would be insured against theft, he's really only stealing from the insurance companies, which isn't that bad morally speaking.
I think that as much as this movie sucks and never should have been made your right in that if we look on this one as the one after Gisele's death maybe he stole from them cause he didn't really care if he lived or died. To him the woman that he loved was dead, he had all this money but he didn't really have anything to live for so he just did it cause he wanted to and didn't care if he died. The whole this is what we do thing was just him trying to go on living the life of who he was like she told him. And as for Gisele's money if she didn't have any family then yeah i guess Han got that, although the question is where will his money go now that he is dead too.
