How stupid Stallone will look when the rebels become the oppressors?

You know, like in Rambo III now that his "gallant" freedom fighters spawned the Taliban and Northern Alliance (whom sold whomever poor sap they captured to US forces as "enemy combatant")?

This crap in Burma is the same thing: factions fighting for power. The Karen people just happen to be out of power right now.

It's always up and down: today's victims will become tomorrow's murderers, and vice versa.

May as well be helping the dissidents in Saudi Arabia, or the Sunnis in Iraq...

But didn't Rambo make this point when he was talking to the woman early in the film. "nothing ever changes" "we are animals". Rambo was going in there not to facilitate a regime change but to extract the god-squaders which he did.

While i don't disagree with you with you the Karen rebels might end up turning into an abusive and predatory regime, while they are weak and their enemy exists Rambo and the rebels have a common interest. Once the carnage clears Rambo isn't staying - clearly demonstrated by his return to Arizona.

Only if his ends are to stabilize the political situation in the area, they never were.

Are you completely stupid? The Mujahideen were Afghan freedom fighters the Taliban were spawned by Pakistani leaders who feared a Soviet invasion of their country through Afghanistan.

And now Myanmar, formerly Burma, is persecuting Rohingya Muslims, burning villages and all that bad shit as seen at start of this film. But these people have no rambo, just a limp UN and world leaders who for the most part turn a blind eye. Shameful.
