Rambo looked pretty pissed as he was shredding the enemy soldiers...

to pieces with that .50 cal during the final shootout.

Wonder what was going through his mind...

Probably nothing, except the fighting.

He'd already seen enough, what with missionaries being fed to pigs and all. There was nothing more that needed thinking about.

I think that scene went on for too long. It was literally 15 minutes of Rambo shooting people with a mini gun.

So far you've said nothing wrong.

I know this is an ancient comment, but it wasn't a minigun. It was an M2 if I remember correctly.

Really? What with all that plastic surgery I thought Sly looked the same in ever scene.

It's simple really. The team were captured and subjected to torture, almost the same type of torture that Rambo himself went through in Vietnam, Thailand that is touched in flashback in First Blood and he is also subjected to again in Part 2. So obviously this touched on a nerve of Rambo's and he let rip with the full force of his vengeance for not only the team but for the innocent villagers that the Burmese were terrorizing. Just as it looks like the team have had their chips, Rambo decides enough is enough and comes to the rescue creating undoubtedly the best scene of the film.

As Rambo said earlier in the film "This is who we are, what we do. Live for nothing or die for something..Your call." Sums it up really.

Shoot me again, I ain't dead yet!

Rambo was channeling all the inner-strength he could possibly muster. It must have taken a tremendous amount of energy and strength to fire that gun for so long, non-stop. So he was undoubtedly channeling all his inner-strength, like you do when you are working-out hard. He was probably getting himself as psyched-up as possible, recalling his toughest workouts ever. Telling himself to ignore the pain!!

You are a PU$$Y.

I don't know, but that last 20 minutes was beautiful

reply

That last shootout was INCREDIBLE and that was Rambo letting out every ounce of rage he had and it was glorious
