Well i keep reading Rambo V could be REBOOTED or move on without Stallone. Here is my idea and i would be OK with it.

Reboot with a new young actor who can portray John Rambo's grit/persona while getting trained by a younger Sam Trautman for the first hour of movie and make it a vietnam harrowing theme of recuirtment and war. Then, have the second half be a "Rambo IV" style gritty/realistic action movie of all of his vietnam acheivments and experinces that were always talked about in the movies. Like earning his medals, becoming a combat soldier from hell. Have the movie end with his Homecoming to a realization of how bad things are and set it up for a series reboot of sorts.

I rather see a reboot version of this franchise with a woman playing the Rambo character and instead being a Vietnam war vet, she was an Afghanistan war vet
