If Jodorowsky, Kubrick and Terry Gilliam made a film together
This would be it.
shareWow, you seem to know the directors whose name you put in your mouth pretty well then.
You make me sad, buddy. And Kubrick would turn in his grave for your film connaisance.

LOL, that's a good way of putting it.
shareI don't see the Kubrick piece at all besides the fact that Darwin's character looks like a droogy when he's not wearing his feather coat.
Singh definitely draws a lot from Jodorowsky.
I couldn't get over the fact that Charles Darwin was dressed near EXACTLY like one of the mission bandits in El Topo- the one that dies with the record player.
shareApparently you haven't seen anything by Sergey Parajanov - this film was very much in his language.
shareThrow Guillermo Del Toro in there.
I'm going to find it and I'm going to destroy it. I don't know how yet. Possibly with dynamite.
The whole time I was thinking a kid's version of Jodorowsky.
I had that superbright colour LSD surrealism.
