Reminded me a lot of 500 Days of Summer
Good direction, flawless and unique transitions, realistic storytelling.
Did anybody else feel like this was the UK classical version of the US independent success?

Nah, 500 Days of Summer is a piece of crap. This is actually a great movie.
shareI would have to agree. The feeling was very similar. Cashback was much more dark, but the protagonists were very similar character. Ben never lost sight of his end goal in art school where Tom was obviously further in his life and just going through the motions instead of persuing his dreams.
Both were very good and 500 Days of Summer dummied it down and cleaned it up enough to watch with your girlfriend.
I was thinking of posting the exact same thing here and was so surprised to see this! Wow!
And yeah, I was reminded of 500 Days Of Summer while watching this and was quite amazed on how similar these two movies felt.
