This IS softcore porn

I can't see how people can redeem the numerous models posing naked as art, it seems like the movie tries to justify it a little too literally by saying "look it's not porn because he's an artist, it can't be porn because he's an artist". The audience isn't that stupid, but by being so heavy with the idea it's basically forced a branding of porn. A nice idea taken to such extremes and frankly, there's too much nudity, I got the idea quickly but the dull repetition just reminded me how far from art this actually was. Life imitating art, this is porn imitating art. This is a pretentious movie and I feel like the main message is "if you aren't an artist you won't get it". Ben's World is full of people who are idiots who don't see the same way he does, the only exceptions are the people who he paints, it's a mysogenistic concept where if you aren't an artist you're either an idiot or a model... I'm none of the above.

No, this is definitely not softcore porn. The nudity isn't gratuitous. The sexuality isn't explicit, rather it is an implicit sensuality, and that is a world of difference. Your mileage may vary, but by no definition would this fall under "softcore porn".

Pornography by definition is intended to cause erotic stimulation; "Cashback" certainly didn't have this as an agenda. The point of nudity was justified in representing the character's outlook and appreciation of the female form. The repetition involved maintained consistency in the narrative.

Slowpoke115, perhaps you're too distracted by the nudity in the film (due to our society-induced-phobia of naked flesh) to be able to view the plot objectively.

I think you're being pretentious with your opinion, and you took this movie way too seriously. Essentially looked to me like a predictable romantic comedy with a much better style than most, that's it. And 'misogynistic'? Based on what you're saying, he was supposed to like idiots and not draw his material of interest to avoid that label. He must completely appease female sensitivity or he hates them. In that case, every single chick flick, from victorian dramas to modern cheese is misandrist.

And yes, he was a certified pervert. That was very clear. But that's not all he was. And he certainly wasn't a pro like that other guy who got slapped and splashed all the time.

Why can't you be a non-conformist like everyone else?

Your shower routine contains way too much nudity. Totally gratuitous, too. You could have the decency to wear a swimsuit or something. Don't tell me anything about privacy, either, because God can see you.

I like when Bunny comes over and both tits pop out. That's a great fnckin' scene.

First and foremost, here in the "GROWNUPS" room, NUDITY does NOT equal PORN. The beauty of the human form, or the horror, or whatever view is being taken, is NOT automatically connected to pornography, which are presentations created specifically to create sexual arousal.

Once you have had a few sexual partners, you be able to have the maturity to look at naked bodies and not always be thinking about sex with that person. Or you WILL be thinking about sex with that person, and that will be fine too.

Welcome back later.
