Basically he was working in a supermodel-only supermarket...


It's ridicolous.

I know it was probably done for "artistic" reasons, ie the audience prefers to see young beautiful women compared to average or old ones, but come on.

Especially one scene I felt forced, I mean the fairly long sequence of one single aisle with I think 5 women in it, whom he undresses while time is frozen.

Not one of them was nothing short of beautiful.

LOL. I worked in a supermarket for 6 years in high school and college. We were lucky to see 2 women of that caliber in a day! Never 5, at once, in the same aisle. BUT, remember, the frozen scenes take place in Ben's mind, so the girls are his abstractions. To him, the female form is the most beautiful thing he's ever seen (see: Swedish girl). So yeah, to keep with the theme, every girl he sees and draws should be beautiful.
