If Eric Kripke had stayed the whole Fifteen years?

So here is a question for you guys.

Many of you feel that the first five years are truly the best definitive years of Supernatural. So if Eric Kripke had continued on for ALL of the fifteen years as Show-Runner, do you feel that his vision would have still been as strong? We had four show-runners in this stint and they all bought something very different, and they all had their own collective visions that they bought to the table.

So how do you think Eric would have coped had his story telling lasted fifteen years. Would it have been as strong as those first five? Would his arc's been as out there, and fresh as say Andrew Dabb's in later seasons? Would he have done it any differently? Eric mentioned that his final ever episode would have been much more gory and blood thirsty and we might not have liked it as much. Fifteen years looking back is a long time, and a long time to put any descent content into it. So with that thought in mind, would you have loved Eric to have stayed the whole hog?

That's a good question...I really don't know. I wonder that for a lot of shows. But yeah, I think he would've ended the show/boys journey more "bloody" as I think he put it in a interview.

Probably would have been better. He probably would not have continued with the whole god deities thing. They left zero to the imagination. The Winchesters basically defeated every powerful biblical being you can think of.

Kripke was honestly the only one with a long term vision for the show. Instead of the, "Let's just introduce OP characters & find McGuffins to kill 'em off" approach of the later seasons. They just seemed to get repetitive. There didn't seem to be a consistency or long term plans beyond a single season's story.

So, I think if Kripke had stayed, he would at least had a plan for the show going forward.

Mister I think you are spot on, Eric always had a plan an arc throughout all the seasons. So if he did stay that would be my bet too. He knew exactly where he and the show would be going and that's long term. I think after S5 he would have changed tack and changed the arc with a new plot.
