I remembering reading somewhere Dabb said he'd like a few more bad guys in a scene. I also think he intended to have John and Mary, or maybe others return for a finale scene. It's a shame, but I wont feel "cheated" until I see those episodes.

That's funny... Jensen claims they were going to do some pointless montage of old characters showing where they came from in the start to where they end, and it was a tip of the hat to fans... I think fans would much rather have the show nix all these pointless cameo appearances and just do a good show. The sad fact is the first couple of seasons were so much better than the last dozen because they focuses only on the main characters.
