SPN Premier's do they really feel like one these days?
A recent article which I read, and recently lost, explained about Premiers and stand-a-lones. Now, we know about Stand a lone episodes, and not until recently got the feeling about this year's Premier to me didn't feel like one. I wonder if this is why? That previous finale's and Premier's can sometimes role into one, and not necessarily feel like a Premier. I got this feeling also end of Season 2 when Sam died. This time, it really did feel like a stand-a-lone in the fact that it didn't move the story along that much. That there wasn't that Wham, Bam! ACTION and fast paceness that we sometimes feel in a Premier.
How did you feel about this seasons Premier, did you feel it was a bit out on a limb? Or, you couldn't take your eye off the screen. That it really packed that Wham! Bam!! PUCNH!!! Remember the days of Lazarus Rising, S4 when there was something for everyone to watch. Dean coming back from Hell. Digging his way out of his own grave, petrified and visiting that disused petrol station, and having to deal with glass flying everywhere. He did however, finally get back home after his ordeal. But it really, really did feel like one. That you KNEW Dean had been threw the mill and came out the other side, a bit wobbly but alive. So would love to know if you feel SPN has lost its punch in producing a WoW Premier?
