This is the one I've been dreading. Are they planning to put Jack in the Malok Box because they can't control him? Dean is concerned about not being able to save Mary because of the state she was left in when she died. How the hell are they gonna catch Jack? And will they be able to stop him?

reply

I expect nothing less from Dabb than to use Deans storyline aka Malak Box 📦 for another character. Asshole. I’m still pissed that he dumped the Michael/Dean arc.

reply

Sadly, it does appear this way as I think Jack will end up in the box that Dean made for himself. What was the point in all that effort?

reply

I don't see it happening.

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER
In case you haven’t seen the new episode... What did I say? Do Dabb and the Nep Duo have one creative bone left in their bodies? Collectively? Just one is all I’m asking. Predictable.

*A Day In The Life on the Supernatural Set*

Dabb: *Musing* “Malak Box. Jack. Box. Hey! Jack in the box! Get it? Huh? Bob! Get Ackles on the phone. Tell him I’m dropping the whole MichaelDean storyline! Whaddya mean he won’t be pleased? I’m sure he’s been waiting for THAT shoe to drop since the 2nd episode this year! Okay, now everybody say what a genius I am or you’re all out of a job! Crew: “We’re all out of a job in a year anyway. And FYI, we all think you’re a hack who should have had the keys of the Lamborghini taken away from you a long time ago!!!” Dabb: “Okay. You’re entitled to your own opinions. Opinions? Opini-eye. Everyone but you Bob! But c’mon, you gotta admit it’s cool!” Crew: “We quit.” NepDuo: “Oh Andy baby darling- what is this cannon everyone keeps going on about? Isn’t that some type of military machinery?” Dabb: *To himself*. “And they call ME a hack!”

reply

It looks like Dean wants to kill Jack for killing Mary, so something might have turned around in his favour?

reply

I think there is a slight chance Jack isn't going to die. Really, there are many options imo. However, this episode was just as bad as Byzantium. The episodes with all about Jack and the boys just walking around the Bunker, I feel like is wasted space.
I don't understand why Jack was like OK, I'll totally go in the box, instead of being more persistent about making angels, but Cas did kill Duma and it shows how Jack is still only 2 years old, no soul, yada yada. Is this suppose to be like Frankenstein, he can be kind hearted, but he'll kill others accidentally. When Jack referred to killing Mary as the accident/incident, Dean really looked pissed and I don't blame him. But it shows how Jack is just not all there. Apparently, Lucifer hallucination can get enough into Jack's head to feel emotions, but he has no soul, so what's that about?
Where is Naomi?? Lets bring her back, just to ship her off into the black void again.
For what happens to Jack, I think he will either be killed/somehow, or God is going to show up and take care of Jack himself. Either by sacrificing him, curing him in some way, restoring his soul or Pinocchio him (make him human). Honestly, I don't like any of these. I enjoyed Jack in Season 13, but in this season it's like wtf is happening?? I cant say I didn't see Jack going to the dark side/becoming a villain eventually, but they had a good "formula" with the boys, Cas and Jack. After the ending of season 13/beginning of this season. I thought Jack was fully human, Michael was going to be our seasons big bad, and the other Michael would show up. I mean in Season 11, Chuck said he wasn't well enough, or he was insane because of Lucifer in the cage, but where IS he??
Remember that kid Jesse, the antichrist from season 5? I've read people want him to return and have a showdown with Jack. Not sure what I think about that. I'm all over the place obviously.
I feel completely let down and Peace of Mind was the last great episode imo.

reply

Once I knew God was the surprise guest appearance, I just knew God would save Jack. Restore him, and not sacrifice him. Which I hope isn't the latter.

I remember Jesse, and before this I remember fans wanting him to come back. So he is still an important character to the fandom as a whole.

I would like to see both Michael's together. That would be interesting....

Chuck coming back to save Jack. I’ll admit that would be about the most predictable ending that Dabb the hack could come up with. I pray even he has more talent than that. I’m still wondering if based on the things Michael said that (and I know it won’t happen but I think it would be a cool twist)when God finally does show up we find out that Michael has been playing a long con all this time in order to flush Chuck out to kill him.

I’m going to be sick if all the season ender turns out to be Dean trying to kill Jack, which causes Jack to finally turn. A*cough* epic *cough* battle ensues (will the Empty Entity be joining the fray?) and just as it turns bad for our boys (thinking one of them gets obliterated so that there’s not enough to bring them back thereby completing the foreshadowing from the episode we just watched) Chuck steps up and restores Jacks soul (if he can), shutting his power down and returning the cute little nougat loving boy back to the waiting arms of his three dads. Blech.

Thinking Sam takes the bullet meant for Jack. Jumps between Dean and his intended target. Or he was stabbed with the angel blade?

reply

I seem to remember reading this theory somewhere before. That Dean could fight Jack and be the one that ends up in the empty? Cas goes in and tries to bring Dean back? (second bit - my thought)

Chuck saving Jack does appear to be the most predictable finale save for this show to conjure up, but then if Eric maybe lending a hand in the finale next season would it be too early to think he might have a secret hand in working this finale too??!?

reply

Where did you hear about Eric having anything to do with the final season? If I’m not mistaken he has a new show on his hands and the dudes pretty busy. Do you really think Dabb would want that?

Oh, you mean the inescapable Empty? The Empty that is as inescapable as the bunker is impenetrable.

reply

Its common knowledge on Twitter, that fans want him to come back and have some input into the last season and if not, at least write the finale which is a huge dream of many fans apparently. I in some cases don't blame them. I think he knows Sam and Dean best even though he's not written them for 10 years. At least he would have a better shot than Dabb, who finds it hard to show emotions where the brothers are concerned. Sam hasn't even shed a tear about his mum yet, and looses his emotions over a group of hunters he hardly really knows that well, what's that all about?!?

Yes, Eric is busy. But I am sure anything is possible since we got JDM to come back and do a cameo who was also crazy busy...

I think it would bring the series full circle if he were to write the last ever finale, does anyone agree?? .......

reply

I agree. IT would be great for Eric to write the finale..finish what he started. I know "Swan Song" was his intended "ending" - but I'm curious how He would end it.
