So thoughts on Games Night?

So does this mean Nick/Lucifer is really, really, really, really DEAD!?!?!
Has Jack done it again?!?!?
Is Mary ?????
Is Sam okay after Jack healed him?
More to the point is Jack okay after healing Sam and killing Nick in such quick succession?
What did you love and not so much enjoy about the episode?

Come on give it to me, need to know your thoughts ......... REALLY!

I really hope Nick is finally dead. Even when Mary was trying to stop Jack I was yelling do it do it. I've gotten so tired of him. Now wonder what will happen to his dead wife who is haunting his home.

When Jack was demonstrating his powers to the threesome I figured then he had lost his soul. Even though it was to save everyone from Michael, it had to deplete what he had left. At the end of the previous episode when Sam was telling him to be careful he was a little to eager to say ok.

I'm praying he didn't kill Mary. But he may have hurt her. In the promo for the next he looks like he's feeling all kinds of guilt. It also shows him talking to Nick. Not sure about that.

Yes Sam's ok. It was similar to what Cass does when one or both were injured.

No Jack is not ok. He hasn't really learn how to control his powers. He wants to desperately be part of the family and when he does something wrong he really feels hurt. It's one of those where someone does the wrong thing for all the right reasons.

I thought this episode was good. Glad Donatello wasn't killed. Do have a question about the amulet that Cass found. I thought Dean had his. If that's the case then the one that Cass found wouldn't probably work.

That Amulet to me didn't look like Dean's original Amulet it was a completely different design which I think was why it didn't work? Shame as I thought it wasn't originally what Anneal and Cas were not looking for. I think neither of them really new what they were searching for until it shone at them. But for a minute, I thought I saw it a light in Cas's hand as he clenched it. Obviously not, as it didn't happen. I wonder if it will contact God later, that its not powered up as it hasn't been used in a while.

I don't think Mary is dead either, I think its too early to kill her off but you never know with this show. For a minute I thought Sam was a gonna, and was surprised that Dean left him alone with Lucifer. He must have sensed the mood that Sam was around him to punch a fight was out of control at times. Was Sam knocked out too easily? Did he see that coming?

I am bothered about Jack, and wonder if he has Lucifer's tendencies in him, and his body isn't used to control those powerful powers yet, that its too much for him to handle. His anxiety levels were through the roof when Mary tried to show Jack love and concern back in the bunker. Something nagging in him trigged him to react against her from the jump. Whether this has an affect on his powers to be used as a momentarily moment I don't know. But he sure isn't Jack or well. I really, really do hope the show doesn't turn him bad or forbid kill him off, not now.

I did enjoy this episode. Even though Dean never got to play his board game.

I watched it again and am wondering if the pain the Jack was experiencing he turned to Mary for help. If he killed her I think the Mary that was said at the end would have been more tormented. I'm also hoping they don't kill him off. He would make a great legacy to inherit bunker.

So you think he's not killed her?

reply

To be honest I'm not sure. I'm really hoping not because that would destroy his relationship with the J2's. In the promo for next weeks episode, Absence, it looks like they're back in the bunker and sounding very concerned about Jack. If he had killed her or even injured her, I don't think they would be sympathetic.

Since Dabb hasn’t see a storyline he didn’t eventually rip off-uh, I mean artistically make his own - I’m waiting for Jack to go all evil and at the very last moment before he destroys the universe Cas will whip out the old yellow crayon type speech ala Willow and Zander on Buffy and save the day. Yay! Much rejoicing, tears and hugs all around and then just at the pinnacle of Castiels happiest moment the Entity from the Empty will swoop in and take him. That will be the end of the character but don’t worry because Jack will become the NuCas.
