I was surprised in their conclusions, but would like to know your thoughts if you think their correct or not with their assumptions.

I didn't expect season 8, 11, and 10 to be that "high"...i didn't read it all yet.
Personally imo there are a few ways to rank a series seasons, by its mythology, its stand alone episodes, Dean/Sam's (character) roles, and then overall episodes. .
I need to watch the whole series again

4 years ago I got into watching TV Series

I watched Dexter,Breaking Bad, Smallville, Walking Dead and Then Watched The X-files, Fringe and Supernatural ....

I LOVED The X-files, Fringe and Supernatural

I remember watching Supernatural Seasons 1 through 8 in about 2 months and can honestly say It was one of the best Movie experiences of all my life

BUUUUUT I think I'm in the Minority here, because even though I enjoyed the hell out it....my enjoyment really went down after the first 4 seasons, Once they started focusing Mainly on Angels I just didnt like the show as much...of course while watching it I didnt know it was happening, I just kept watching it and once I finished I really looked back and realized I really enjoyed the first 4 seasons most when They focused mainly on Hunting Creatures and Supernatural threats

since I finished watching it..the show has gone to have 5 more seasons, and I always find myself thinking about trying to catch up with it again but I just cant get motivated because I just dont like the Angels Mythology and storylines ....

I've gone through the IMDB episodes like 10 times looking at new seasons and see that theres still a bunch of episode where they are basically "One Offs" where they are hunting some threat....these are the episodes I LOVE and I know 1 day I will get caught up on the rest of the series....but right now...I dislike the angels storylines so much I cant never bring myself to start watching the series again

The first 4 season are easily some of my favorite Seasons ever for any show

I just clicked on the link you posted and read the info given below each season where they ranked them because I was curious to read what seasons 9,10,11,12 and 13 were about and they all seemed to be Heavily focused on The Angels mythology

but I clearly got to be in the minority here because Supernatural is coming up on its 14th season and I guess Fans and audiences must LIKE the Mythology and Angels Storylines A LOT MORE than me

I'm 100% with you. The first 4 seasons were must watch tv for me. Season 5 disappointed me, but I wish that was where the show ended. I stuck with it until about season 8 and lost all interest. I didn't care about any of the angel storylines or characters even Castiel, I felt was unnecessary.

I've watched a bunch of episodes from season 10 cos the plot sounded really interesting and people on imdb seemed to praise it, so I checked out most of the episodes, but the show has become a parody of itself especially seasons 11/12/13 I've seen maybe 2-3 episodes from them and they just seemed goofy.

I can't believe season 1 is ranked so low. Admittedly, it was a bit hard to get into season 1 because each episode was MOTW and very formulaic, but the last few episodes Salvation and Devil's Trap remain the best episodes of the show for me. I loved the tone, the drama and the dynamic with their father and what a cliffhanger.

Looking back on season 1, it still has some great stand out MOTW episodes. Faith, Hell House, Scarecrow, Shadow, Something Wicked and Provenance.

GB I can't believe that about S1 either. It had so much to offer, like the lighting, direction dark night shots. The story telling was so damned creepy unlike it is today. I think they've lost that touch a tad. That's what made it special I think. I remember how The Benders made me feel, humans chasing humans on a fox hunt. It was that raw edge telling of a story that pricked my attention. It made me listen and think interesting. Honestly, I am surprised what this person writing the article was thinking ranking it so low. That angered me. I think its very underrated, personally.
