Is Mary staying in the AU?

I can't stop thinking about this, that the AU will carry on into Season 14, and have read articles which say that Mary may want to stay in the AU for ever and not go back with her sons. She still has issues about coming back after 30 years and wants to carry on hunting. Yet has always protested that she wants to escape it, just like her son Sam. Does this also mean that Jack might want to stay too, since he feels he's beginning to fit in?

Are the boys wasting their time in searching for them? All this effort for little reward?

I was thinking about that too. More Jack than Mary.
I thought Jack would want to stay to help that world rebuild (after defeating Michael) - Mary might want to stay as well to be a "mother" to Jack.

If/When the boys go to AU to get Mary/Jack and if they say they're staying. I'm sure they will be upset, but at least they know Mary and Jack are OK...but it's not like they can visit, or email.

Yeah, cause once that rift closes that's it, they can't go back unless they search for those ingredients all over again, and there are not that many arch angels left.
