The only good thing to come out of this CC was boys being pretty and the opening number on Sunday with Kansas. I admit that was very cool - too bad it finally happened when the show is at its absolute worst.
As for the S13 direction, I still can't believe these people receive a paycheck for ideas this bad. And it looks like Dabb's very low opinion of Dean and desire to do what he can to "ruin" Dean continues unabated.
At this point I truly believe Jensen knows Dabb doesn't like him, but at this late stage can't muster the energy to go to Peter Roth as he did in S6 and S9 to fight for Dean anymore, which is the saddest thing for Dean fans because Jensen himself was our last best hope. Oh, I'm sure he will continue to try to act against the shitty scripts, as he has always done - that's when he's even given any lines to say, which if S12 is any indication will be few and far between.
But, seriously, Dabb wants Dean to look bad for thinking Mary is dead - in a clear attempt to pervert and rewrite Sam's own behavior in S8 - and for wanting to kill Jack. And to Herr Idiot I say I'M WITH DEAN! Mary was a cold-hearted skank of a bitch who never showed Dean one ounce of love or concern, so why should he ever care about her again? She spent S12 having no use for him, so he should have no use for her.
And as for Satan's spawn, kill the little bastard! The story is hella stupid and horrible and it should be killed dead dead dead.
Dabb and Singer are the biggest morons in the business!

I agree with all you say, I have watched most of the stuff coming out of comic con and I am truly depressed - after such a bad season as 12 to still have Dabb and no SL for Dean is rubbish. I find it almost impossible to believe that Jensen doesn't care that Sam is now getting his SL and is now the "big leader" surely he must care a bit. In his individual interview he really did not have ANYTHING to say and looked like he was relieved to be able to leave.
