I was thinking, would it of been a better route to have them not evil.. but send a team that turns evil trying to kill the hunters then have Sam & Dean team up with the BMoL to save the day to stop the rogue MoL?

I think it could have been better if we hadn't been given a look behind the curtain every damn time the BMoL did something wrong, but that's not what you asked, uh . . . I think that maybe they still could've had the BMoL be villainous if they dialed it down and made them menacing instead of one-dimensional and if they'd had another MoL from somewhere else in the world show up who would have been 'good' in comparison. If not another chapter of the MoL - French edition or whatever, I originally thought at the start of the season that we'd seen Sam and Dean teaming up with Rowena and witches more to counter the BMoL, because there's more history there with the MoL vs. witches, but they didn't do that. Instead they had Sam join the BMoL because apparently it was easier than being a leader, which was just . . . blech!
