It's been bothering me that I've seen her before. She was Layla's mother in the episode of "Faith".
I've been upset that they bring back characters only to kill them but with her I don't mind it one bit.

shareI agree, but she's knocking on her door. I'm at least envisioning a Mom vs. Mom fight, and Alex is supposed to be there too, I think. Maybe she'll help . . . unless Sam and Dean are out of the bunker by the start of the next episode?

So much loss this season. It's as if the showrunners are trying to pluck at heartstrings that have already snapped and withered.
I know. It feels like they're intentionally trying to cut all ties with what the show used to be, so Dabb can make this into an entirely different show, or at least it feels that way to me. I suspect that Alex being there will be the difference between Jody living and dying. They'll knock Mary out or something, and that will buy Dean and Sam time to get there. It's just that with this show, you never know, and I'm still expecting at least one or two more people to die between now and the end of the season.
