I'll admit. My first reaction to seeing this clip and reading comments was probably pretty similar to what Dean's was when he watched the Colt get melted in half, 'Noooooo,' and all, because Dean is going to sit back and let Sam fix the Colt? Might've thought, 'What it in the name of all that is holy is this show doing with regards to Dean this season?' Then I took a step back. Whatever Sam comes up with won't work. It can't. He'd need like a comet and a large number of people dying or sacrificing themselves . . . maybe Rowena and the book of the damned. Oh wait. This episode is about witches, right? Well, fuck.

Just kidding . . . maybe. Guess we'll see how this plays out.

Besides, they can't bring the Colt back. It's too powerful. Do I wish it hadn't come back at all? Yep. And once it came back, they had to find a way to get rid of it or de-power it. I'm guessing that if Sam does seem to fix it for whatever reasons, it won't be able to kill almost everything again.

I watched it again. To me, Dean has never looked more like the younger brother asking if Sam could fix something. Maybe they're going to change that next? They did it with Michael and Lucifer, right?
