I still LOVE Rowena?

How about you? Are you still not sure, in between, dislike her or adore?

Let's talk ROWENA mother to Fergus!

I really like Rowena.

I like her when she's not interacting with Crowley. I think both characters are better off being apart from each other.

But, for the most part, I really like Ruth and I think Rowena is at least an interesting entertaining enough character, especially when she's interacting with the brothers, and I'd much rather see more of her than Mary.

I adore Rowena. She was in 2 of my 10/10 episodes, Werther and Regarding Dean. I love it when she's with the boys. Sam, Dean, Rowena is fast becoming one of my favorite dynamics on the show. She's giving Crowley a run for his money for that favorite sidekick spot!

Yes I agree. It's not that they don't have chemistry - it's that the writers continue to write the same 'one-note' dialogue between mother and son. It's been done to death.

Whereas I'm enjoying her interactions with the brothers as a reluctant partner in crime. However, I prefer that they use her sparingly. Spells and magic books are the tools of lazy writers.

I like Rowena now, when she was first introduced I found her being written too OTT for me. She now seems to be written much better, in fact probably better than Castiel who they still struggle with. I guess her back story and how she can be inserted/part of the story is much easier than say Castiel who they can't make up their mind on how powerful or not he should be depending on the episode!

I am so pleased fans are beginning to like her. I loved her from the start even though some felt she was ott with her Scottish accent. But that didn't bother me, cause I'm British Lol!! I saw potential in her very early on, and I agree with all of you. She is better on screen with the boys than pairing up with Crowley, I didn't see this early on but you're all right. I agree with you too that she has a spark with the boys and is more comfortable bouncing off them. She seems to blossom and we see her true colours more, who she really is.

I love the witch side, and what she brings, how she's defeated Lucifer when in Rick and how she used her powers to get out of trouble. I prefer her to Cas I must admit now she is a big part of the team and works so well within the story lines. I hope they flesh her out more, and we see a bigger area of Rowena that we've not seen yet. I would hate the show if they killed her off now, even though it's been done before. She had a hidden spell which saved her, she's clever and cunning....

I adore her as many may have gathered. And YES I prefer her to Mary and would like to see more of her and less of Mary. But I enjoy what Mary is bringing and how they are adapting her and developing her role ....

When they introduced her at the end of Ask Jeeves I was wary of them adding a new villain to the show. But midway through Girls, Girls, Girls I was thinking, "I don't know who she is but I LIKE her!" When it was revealed that she was Crowley's mother (I remember him telling Dean that some things he learned from his mother, who was a witch) I wondered if she could be as entertainingly evil as Crowley. I remember being very intrigued by the character and hoping she would be around for a while.

Then in her next episode when she was chained in Crowley's dungeon talking to a fellow prisoner and making a Braveheart joke, it sealed the deal for me. I love Rowena and she's been one of my favorites ever since that scene.
