Spoilers for 12.17

So, we're heading into the weekend, and I'm guessing things will get a little slow, so I thought I'd put this up for episode 17.

SYNOPSIS: The British Invasion
Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) get a lead on Kelly Kline’s (guest star Courtney Ford) whereabouts. Mick (guest star Adam Fergus) drops by the bunker unexpectedly and decides to join the hunt.

Airs on April 6 at 8|7c on The CW.

Looks like the Winchesters will still be working with the BMoL if Mick is just showing up out of the blue again and wanting to go on another hunt with them.

reply

So that's two episodes where are hunting with Mick. He also joins them in episode 16.
I suppose Mary is working with Ketch off screen.

reply

So looks like the men of letters are going to cure Claire then?

Otherwise why would they let Mick join them?

reply

Yeah, that's generally what I thought when I saw this. It's so annoying. Curing Claire is just the thing to make Dean trust the BMoL more. I'm still hoping they have Mr. Ketch go after Claire at the end of the episode like he did the girl at the end of American Nightmare. Not because I want Claire's character gone necessarily (although if they continue to write her as a bratty teenager instead of a young woman, I wouldn't mind), but for me the Winchesters have to start catching onto what's been going on behind their backs all season, and having Claire go missing because the BMoL want to do experiments on her or kill her, seems like a good way to do that. Besides, when was the last time we had someone of importance who wasn't a monster die on this show? Season 10?

I'm putting in an application for you as new writer for the show. All kidding aside, that would be a great way for Sam and Dean to investigate what happens to the people they save and to the witnesses.

reply

Maybe what happened with the Alpha vamp made Mick realize there are actual consequences to hunting. Also Mr. Ketch let him down but Sam who no reason to help them didn't in order to save lives, not just kill monsters. I get the feeling he wants to be part of the cool group too. Or he is spying on them.

I don't think Dabb is going to let his character get killed off. Claire might be threatened but not killed.

reply

Yeah, it crossed my mind that Mick might be a Winchester convert by the end of the season.
