How did Mary locate the Colt?
This is still puzzling me, can anyone fill me in, please. I still cannot recall how she came by it, or even how the Men of Letters NEW where it was.
Thoughts .....
The BMOL's sent Mary to steal the Colt so somehow they new where it was. Maybe they tracked it's history and discovered that Crowley had picked it up and offered it to Ramiel. That part wasn't explained very well.
What is intriguing is that it doesn't look like Sam has told Dean about the Colt because he told Dean that the BMOL's killed the Alpha. Which they didn't. And I would assume going forward they will need the Colt to kill other Alpha's in order to rid the world of monsters once and for all. That little secret is going to rear it's ugly little head at some point.
Thanks, Cass, this really confused me for a while, and kept thinking am I going loopy. I like your theories and that Crowley might be behind it. It's like the Gun suddenly resurfaces and gets put into a closet without any referencing to how it got there. Ramiel to me at the moment is like a blur, I can't fit that character on my radar.
Wouldn't Dean want to know about the Colt being back? Hadn't thought about the Alpha's being the priority for the BMoL wanting the gun. Good point.
