I rented the show from blockbuster.
When I went to find season 2 ... THE SHOW WAS CANCELED ???

MAN....I WAS REALLY LIKING THIS TOO...

Yeah, the show was canceled like 4 years ago so it won't be coming back, sadly. Have you ever watched Lost? It's an amazing show that had 6 seasons and just ended this year, and it wasn't canceled like Invasion, so there is an ending. It's in the same genre as Invasion (sci-fi mystery and character drama) with great characters too.

Funny thing that LOST fans were living on this page back in the day, trolling and hating Invasion. I never quite understood why they felt so threatened by a show that came on after theirs.

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

Ha, I don't see the point in hating on a show just because you don't like it. Everyone likes something different. It's not like they were on rival networks either, they were on the same network.

Actually, the only reason I started watching Lost was because Invasion got canceled and I was looking for a show to watch. I was a HUGE fan of Invasion and was really disappointed when it got canceled, but after watching the first two seasons of Lost on DVD that summer, and then I started watching Lost as it aired with the beginning of season 3, I was hooked. Lost became my favorite show of all time, and nothing even comes close to it, which is saying a lot because I was VERY into Invasion and season 1 of Heroes.

Anyway...I wonder how many people watched both Lost and Invasion as they were on that season. I read a few people comment on how coming on after Lost wasn't actually such a great thing for Invasion because watching Lost is really emotionally and mentally draining because it's such an intense and layered show, so people would be less inclined to start watching the next show that is on right after that. I think that makes sense, although I'm not saying that was the reason for the lower ratings of Invasion, I wouldn't be surprised if it did have at least a small effect.

Funny thing is, Lost didn't get canceled, but it had a less satisfying ending than pretty much any canceled show in the history of television.

I hated that too! I wanted to see the storyline with the kids develop more.
