While it was a slow season, the best moment of the show happened in this season. When watching the show seasons 1-5 the show was really funny, which helped me move pass lily dumping marshall, that imo was the dumbest move the writers made, more stupid than that terrible finale. Then just as marshall is about to move on lily gets involved with the girl hes seeing. That really bugged me and it really made me hate lily. So in season 9 when marshall told her straight up how he felt, it was like a breath of fresh air. I knew they werent going to break up, but it was nice to see marshall say something about it. Though i really wish that whole dumb arc never happened at all.

I thought the opposite. I thought it was dumb for Marshall to bring this up SEVEN YEARS LATER. If it had truly bothered him that whole time we would've seen it before. I felt like the writers were just running out of ideas and grasping at straws so they brought up this old fight. Yeah Lily might've deserved being yelled at like that, but she deserved it when it happened, not after six years of marriage, having a kid, etc.

Well, Lilly actually started the whole thing when she said in their argument "you hurt me more than i ever could have"

Yeah I agree with Jones; while it was a great scene, it was years too late. Would have been better if it happened about half a season after the fact instead.

It's hard to choose just one fav moment, but for me is in the last episode when Barney is grabbing his newborn baby girl and tells her: "You are the love of my life, everything I have, and everything I am, is yours forever.. "

THAT was a big moment.
