RIP Ding Dongs and the show

How would Brenda Lee have handled the Hostess news?

reply

Not well, I am sure.

reply

Could have been a silly/funny side story though with Provenza and Flynn looking for the last of the ding dongs

reply

That wouldve been good. Were they all wrapped individually like that or did she do it?

reply

It's been a long time since I've seen a package of Ding Dongs, but I'm pretty sure I remember them being individually wrapped.

thanks for that. I havent either, wasnt sure.

Helen_Back_Again,
Yes, they came individually wrapped. Brenda Leigh rewraped them in foil so they were easier to open, less messy to deal with and easier for the director (fewer retakes). Ever have trouble opening one of those individually wrapped snacks and the package rips wrong sending the snack to the floor. Always rewrapped them in foil when not at home. Being the clutz that I am, it made them easier to open in the moment and less embarrassing in public.

Ding Dongs came individually wrapped in foil. She didn't have to do anything to them.

Windycheryl, I think you have a future in fan fiction.

analisa99, that episode would have been a RIOT!!!

I wonder how large a truck Brenda would have rented for her Ding Dong haul?

reply

You can supposedly still get them in Canada as Hostess Canada isn't going under.
