Need ending for Next of Kin, Pt 2

TNT lost their scheduling and the last minutes were cut off. I saw Brenda's parents horrified that Brenda had been lying about Grady's murder. I saw Wesley speaking into the camera that he had figured out Grady must still be alive. Cut. Ack?!

This was such a great episode of "bad" Brenda, manipulating and lying to loved ones and crooks alike: her parents, Fritz and Pope as well as the suspect. Too bad more shows don't have the nerve to make their protagonist so flawed/real. (Second place "Good Wife" Alicia Florrick isn't even close, but the conflict is still fun.)

They don't tell the kid his older brother is dead, they continue with the charade that he's doing important work. Brenda's parents take the boy back to Atlanta, ostensibly to live with them. I was a little disappointed we never heard about him again. This was one of the saddest Christmas episodes of any show ever!

Really?! After all that fuss about telling the hard truths, they decided to just let that kid live his life thinking his brother never gave him another thought, never bothered to drop him a postcard? Huh. And I agree there could have been five seconds available in a later episode to reference the kid holding down the fort at home while they were visiting Brenda.

Well, nonetheless, thank you for answering. This morning's 2:00a.m. episode was Brenda finally recognizing the need to euthanize poor suffering Kitty. Also very sad.

This show is soooo good!

They did say they would tell him. They just did not want to tell him on Christmas.
