Horrible HORRIBLE Southern Accent!

So Brenda is supposedly from the ATL...well, majority of people in Atlanta do NOT have an accent that ridiculously thick! Kyra's interpretation of a southern accent is not only annoying, but actually makes me have trouble liking the character. It's interesting because her southern accent in Something To Talk About is actually more spot on.

Dammit Carol Sue, where is the vodka?!

At first I couldn't stand it and I didn't watch beyond the pilot. But by midseason when everyone was talking about it I decided to try it again when it went into reruns. Then I became HOOKED and LOVED Brenda.

It's funny that when I see Kyra on interviews she sounds so odd to me now in her normal voice!
